This property is in the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area within the
Jefferson National Forest. It is adjacent to Iron Mountain Horse Camp and
a few miles from Cripple Creek, Virginia.
Trails are numerous and include portions of the Virginia Highlands Horse
Trail and the Iron Mountain Horse Trail. You will ride in the forest, through
the trees and alongside many creeks.
Horses should be well shod at least a week prior to arrival. A farrier is
available for emergencies, lost shoes, etc.
